Dungeon World (In German)

Melissa and I both got a complimentary copy of the German version of Dungeon World yesterday, which is really cool of Stefan because he bought our very inexpensive art packs (which anyone can buy and use commercially); the only thing we really did was make a Black Book art pack a bit faster then expected, because he also wanted to use some art from it.

Even better, he sent us copies of the Deluxe version, which comes in a neat slipcase:

You can also get the "normal" version, which I'm surprised (in a good way) is only offered in hardcover, and of course there's also a PDF version.

Given the lack of, say, an $80k Kickstarter (it looks like they did attempt some form of crowdfunding, but it didn't get nearly that much), the production quality is also much higher than I was expecting. Small touch, but the footer actually has something going on besides a page number:

Tables with alternating row highlights:

Horizontal rules:

My only nitpicks would be that I wish text from one section didn't bleed over to the next page (see one of the monster blocks above), and that the chapters had actual art instead of a half a symbol on a page:

There are some large blank sections, but I didn't notice any entirely blank pages (or blank pages with a weird symbol covering most of it). Honestly though all of that is easily offset by the sheer amount of art (not just ours, and not just strange, barely discernible blobs or scribbles). Also the very nice, very easily incorporated formatting touches.

This is the Dungeon World book I wish we got. Maybe we can get an English version of this book? I haven't played Dungeon World in a very long time, but I'd still buy it!

Announcements
You can now get a physical copy of Dungeons & Delvers: Black Book in whatever format you want!

It look a lot longer than expected, but we finally released The Jinni. As with our other monstrous classes, this one is more faithful to the mythology (so don't go in expecting elemental-themed jinn).

After putting it to a vote, the next couple of classes on the docket are the warden (think 4E D&D warden) and apothecary (gotta go see what they're all about).

Dwarven Vault is our sixth 10+ Treasures volume. If you're interested in thirty dwarven magic items (including an eye that lets you shoot lasers) and nearly a dozen new bits of dungeon gear, check it out!

Just released our second adventure for A Sundered World, The Golden Spiral. If a snail-themed dungeon crawl is your oddly-specific thing, check it out!

By fan demand, we've mashed all of our 10+ Treasure volumes into one big magic item book, making it cheaper and more convenient to buy in print (which you can now do).
